Amazon accidentally removed ads with relgious content

Amazon staffs mistakenly removed a bunch of religious ads in the name of “policy” update. According to CNBC, the staffers reportedly removed banners and promotions of religious advertisements resulting in confusions and making significant sale damages.

A company spokesperson said that the policies hadn’t changed. The company staffs are being trained to accept religious material, but the company still doesn’t have any clarity about why this happened within the staffers which not only triggered removal from one staff but a group of them working at Amazon.

Taking down these types of ads has really damaged sales in religious products section which can never be fixed.  The company is putting its efforts into re-training the staffs to approve the religious ads without getting confused.
