Amazon Prime could come up with one day delivery

The default “two-day shipping” policy for Amazon Prime members could shrink to “one-day delivery” soon according to Brian Olsavsky, CFO of Amazon. The e-commerce giant and it’s investors are seriously looking forward to lowering down the delivery timing of products ordered by Amazon Prime members.

Amazon already got a one-day shipping policy for certain products but the default is set to be two-day delivery. Now, the company has partially decided to go for it, making it a milestone for the company to achieve.

“We’re currently working on evolving our Prime shipping program, which has historically been a two-day program, to a one-day shipping program. “We’ll be building most of this capacity through the year in 2019.” – Brian Olsavsky, CFO of Amazon

So probably by the last quarter of 2019, Amazon should be able to publish a press release stating that the default two-day delivery is shrunk to one-day delivery. The company has invested over $800 million to accommodate this change with an ample workforce to draw a steady growth.
