Apple cancels AirPower project after an year of delays

Every premium smartphones coming out into the market including the latest iPhone models and the Samsung devices are powered by wireless charging technology. The smartphone industry is truly turning wireless from charging to listening music. A lot of customers including Apple fanatics raised the concern when Apple failed to provide a wireless charger with the so-called expensive devices.

All the latest iPhone models are still powered by a weird little cable that doesn’t even have any kind of quality (because it wears out too easily). It’s pretty rude that Apple is still not providing fast charging solutions and wireless chargers with the mobile device. In fact, that’s one of the most important reasons why customers are turning towards Samsung’s side to get more tech going.

The latest update is very interesting. Apple officially announced about its AirPower mat which was about to be launched in 2018, but they failed to do it. Now, the company has trashed the entire project because of feasibility and quality standards issue. Few experts say that it’s because of the heating problem which raised a big concern in the project, but the VP of hardware Dan Ricco mentioned that the AirPower mat couldn’t achieve their high standards.

Well, sorry fans. You still gotta purchase a third party wireless charger to charge your iPhone wirelessly (or keep it going with that old and useless cable charger which meets their “high standards”).
