Apple stops charging for data transfer from old to new Macs

Apple used to charge a whopping $99 for transferring your data from old mac to a new one. Apart from all that money customers pay to get a MacBook Pro, they used to charge an additional $99 for transferring the bulk load of data from an old MacBook to a new one.

Well, it’s pretty expensive considering the fact that it’s a data transfer activity, also Apple has a very good habit of charging $99 for anything that doesn’t make sense. Though, due to some reason, Apple has decided to pull off that package and now it’s officially free to migrate your data from old MacBook to a new one.

The news isn’t really interesting, but of course, pocket saving for customers who are looking forward to upgrading without a migration hustle. Hopefully, Apple will also downgrade the price tags of MacBooks as per rumors from multiple sources. The customers who recently paid $99 for migration can start worrying about it, the ones who are getting ready to upgrade can start walking towards the store.
