Gmail just celebrated their 15th anniversary with glory
Gmail just celebrated their 15th birthday on 1st of April 2019. No, it’s obviously not April fool because Gmail is one thing that changed the way people communicate. Orkut might come and go, Facebook might come and go (soon) or even Google+ might leave the planet, but Gmail is here to stay.
The best part is that the Gmail application is conducted by Google with the utmost care given to each and every point of the application. The app keeps growing with the tech, let it be the user interface, user experience or artificial intelligence powered inside the application, the game is always ON.
They upgraded the design without affecting the user experience, they integrated artificial intelligence without affecting the performance, they suggested smart replies that made sense and they did all kinds of upgrades that in a way improved the experience as a whole.
Let’s not take this for granted. Thank you, Gmail for serving us the whole 15 years.
