Google Pixel discontinued customizable mobile cases
Google silently discontinued developing customized mobile cases for the Google Pixel phones. The company is only providing normal fabric cases for the Pixel ranges possibly as a part of cost-cutting. In fact, Google had live cases back in 2016, where the case would reflect the wallpaper with the NFC technology.
Now, the sales of live cases or customizable cases are permanently discontinued by Google which is officially missing from their website. The company will continue selling its fabric cases for Pixel phone customers. Google had already discontinued over 2+ products like Google+ and Inbox this year, and few like Google Link Shortner last year, it might sound really frustrating, but it looks like the company is removing clutter to rise up.
Also, the fact that Pixel phones are still not profitable makes a lot of sense when it comes to cost-cutting.
