Google removed 2.3 Billion malicious ads in 2018

Malicious ads that take users to a point where the user doesn’t want to be, are being spotted out and removed by Google since a very long time. Google’s efforts are really paying off because they removed just 2.3 billion compared to 3.2 billion in 2017. Google AdWords is one of the most used advertising tools by millions of business and individuals around the world.

Just like every other industry, there are human beings who really take advantage of Google ads by sharing malicious ads throughout the web without even considering the user experience. Their only intention is to generate revenue and profits with the help of those types of ads.

Google has taken serious actions against malware ads and they’ve also decided to ban the advertisers account if the majority of the ads are malicious. In fact, Google is making a strict policy to protect the user experience and to serve high-quality interest-based ads within an eco-system where good business meet good customers with high conversion rate. Google still gives plenty of value and importance to the existing customers who do good business with them, but the one who comes with the malware will be thrown out without mercy.
