Sony has come with the world’s fastest SD card reader
Sony built a new USB hub for pro photographers called MRW-S3. The UHS-II SD (and microSD) card reader, supporting read rates up to 300MB/s is nothing but a dream USB hub for the photographers to stop worrying about data transfers.
Photographers can connect their monitor and other peripherals within the USB hub that supports 100W power. There are USB-C and USB-A connectors. The HDMI output is more than enough to play 4K videos at 30 frames per second. Apart from all these features, the product is resilient enough to fight with water and dust as well. The IP68 aluminum design comes with a very high-quality build with water resistance and dust resistance.
The device is expected to hit the market this fall along with the SD Cards in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB which works like butter with the USB hub according to Sony. The company hasn’t announced the price yet, which is making the photographers even more curious about the purchase decision (wait for it).
