The art of controlling the world with a Twitter account

Twitter is without a doubt, one of the most influential platform ever created on earth. Back in 2006, a student from New York university called Jack Dorsey launched an idea to send group SMS to friends in the name of Twitter. Yes, Twitter was meant to be a platform allowing smaller groups of people to communicate.

Today

Twitter is controlling the entire world (not really, but potentially). Influencers like Elon Musk, Donald Trump etc play a very important game on Twitter with their tweets a.k.a their opinions. Imagine a stock going up by more than 1000% because of a tweet and imagine even more weird things and they are bound to happen via Twitter.

Interestingly, Twitter has become a platform where its users can share an opinion about anything in the world. The concept of group messaging has become the idea of spreading the word with the world. Most of the celebrities, politicians and top business tycoons are sharing their insights and opinions via Twitter.

Shareable

The good thing about Twitter is that a tweet can be retweeted, quoted or liked. These features decide what’s trending and then it becomes the new topic of discussion everywhere. It doesn’t matter who you are, once your hashtag is trending, the whole world is going to discuss about your opinion or idea.

Donald Trump who was the 45th President of United of America was banned by Twitter for tweeting content that could potentially trigger violence, and Elon Musk has already made few companies and cryptocurrencies into a billion dollar games. These things only happen via Twitter, because the platform is considered to be one of the most important trend maker or in fact you could call it decision maker.

Twitter

If you’re on Twitter, just follow some of the most influential people to understand what’s about to happen in the next few hours. Looks like these boys got the power to shake the earth with Twitter. We hope there won’t be wars triggered on Twitter, but again in some cases these tweets are directly influencing people in a bad way. The only good thing to do is watch Twitter with a bag of popcorn and not take decisions based on some tweets.

Stay safe, on Twitter.
