Uber to expand it’s reward program to all U.S cities
Uber has a reward program! Do you really know that? Yes, Uber has a reward program which was running in a few American cities. The loyalty program which is popularly known as Uber Rewards (in the nine cities of the USA) is now live around the country. Uber’s loyalty program was actually introduced in November to measure the attraction and usability of their reward program.
Looks like the company has completed their beta testing with 9 cities, which lets them run the feature throughout the country. You get to earn membership levels like Blue, Gold, Platinum & Diamond which lets you claim your reward points while going for a ride. The mathematics is pretty simple, you get to use $5 when your points reach 500 meaning that you get $500 in the ride if you hit 50000 points mark (just a calculation).
Apart from these interesting benefits, you get priority airport pickup, flexible cancellations, and price protections. As of now you’ll earn 1 point for every $1 spent on Uber Pool and Uber Eats, 2 points for UberXL, UberX, Select and WAV followed by 3 points for Black and Black SUV. The company might soon roll this feature to international customers which is much awaited.
