Why Google is running behind Artificial Intelligence

Google has no other option but to implement artificial intelligence within their system, because that’s the fastest way to grow an Internet company without getting hurt.

Recently you might have noticed that Google is putting a lot of time and efforts in building AI products like their Google Home, Google assistant and a bunch of other apps by Google (all powered by Artificial Intelligence).

Well, artificial intelligence is fine! It doesn’t make any big trouble if it’s under control (or else it’s indeed a nightmare). But the reason why all these brands are running behind AI is because it’s unregulated.

Even in the United States of America, the government is not regulating artificial intelligence. Google is taking a quantum leap with the help of artificial intelligence and that’s the key to the growth of their company.

Influencers like Elon Musk had already warned the government for not regulating artificial intelligence (he says it’s an existential threat). If you take 10 internet companies out there, 9 of them might have already implemented artificial intelligence and the remaining one might be waiting for an opportunity.

Not regulating artificial intelligence might not be a good idea, it should definitely be regulated. Also, the government should make sure that the regulations do not affect the positive aspects of artificial intelligence.

Artificial intelligence can now solve bigger problems that we ever expected them to solve, so the possibilities of making something happen with artificial intelligence is huge, but regulating it the right way will surely keep the bad people out of the game.

Artificial intelligence

Artificial Intelligence cannot exist without consciousness, the concept implemented by top internet software companies are machine learning and deep learning. When big data meets machine learning concepts or deep learning, the entire story gets a huge turn around (which means companies that rely on data could come up with super intelligent softwares).

Google and Facebook totally rely on data to generate revenue from it’s users and recently we had to witness a lot of scary controversies about Facebook.

Ok, let’s talk a bit about artificial intelligence in layman’s language. When it comes to the concepts of deep learning, the machines can recognise a pattern and understand something which might not be familiar to the developer.

That’s the spookiest thing about these concepts.

The developer at Google might not really know what the artificially intelligent model is building on its own. Also as because the computers are super powered enough to speed up the process, the machines could solve complex problems in nanoseconds without depending on any user interactions.

Good vs Bad

Well, it totally depends on the implementation of artificial intelligence. If a big chunk of data is handled by the hackers and developers at deep web, there is 99% chance of the data being misused by them.

They can also develop artificially intelligent models and train these models with even more data that are stolen (I don’t think hackers are out of data). The more training the artificial intelligent software gets, the more precise and intelligent it becomes.

Google launched their Google Home products which solves a lot of daily life problems and it automates our daily activities. It’s really helpful and they update the software every single time, but we have to understand the fact that by making conversations with Google Home, we are actually training the artificially intelligent software to let it understand and execute more precisely.

The machine is continuously learning from it’s experiences (it’s as simple as that) and they need your data to make these softwares as precise as possible.

Google claims that they sold a Google home every second since October 2017 (according to TechCrunch), so that’s more than enough for them to collect as much as data as possible.

That’s a deal for a deal! but what else is waiting ? let’s wait and watch.
